question about 2 12in kicker cvr's with a 1500 watt kicker amp?

ok well i bought 2 12in kicker cvr's in a custom made box for my 2005 chevy colorado. I also bought a Kicker ZX1500.1 1500watt amp. I put it all in my truck today and wired everything up. The kickers run on 2ohm each and the amp runs 1500w at 2ohm and 750w at 4 ohm. I also have a 80watt fuse in my power wire for my amp. After hooking everything up I tested them out and for the results, my lights in my truck kept dimming every time the subs hit and the amp kept turning off and going into protective mode. My 80 watt fuse also burned up. Can anyone answer the question of why all this happened? Why do all my lights dim and the fuse burned out and the amp kept cutting off and into protective mode?? what can I do to fix this problem? does the amp have too much power for just those 2 subs?
amp is not burned up, i just bought it brand new today and it was doing it as soon as i plugged it in. amp works perfectly. thanks for the suggestion though

the reason the 80 amp fuse blew is that the kicker zx1500.1 will draw more than 80 amps at full volume.the amplifier will pull around 150 amps. you need good 4 gauge or larger power and ground wiring and to do 'the big 3' upgrade. you also need to double check the ohm load that you have the subs wired too.
