chameleon lighting?
i have a small ficher's chameleon and i know your supposed to have a big UVB reptisun hood... but i have a 75W Sun Glo basking spot lamp that lights up the whole cage (38 gallon reptarium) it's a UVA light. Do i need to spend $40 on a hood and reptisun bulb still? Its not a huge cage but do i still need a Reptisun light?
Sun glow may melt the reptarium. Keep this in mind.
And you need a uva/uvb light I am not sure if the sunglow has any uvb (if it dues it 2 low of a %). You don't have to get a hood. they come in compact florsents (the twisted bulbs) get a repti-glow 5.0 tropical or a repti-glow 2.0 if you cant find that the 5.0.
